CPA – Certified Public Accountant
Business School – Many different jobs (Maybe higher pay?)
Please list the pros and cons of both. Thank You!
I know the requirements.. I was just inquiring about what you think the better career path is. I’m leaning towards business school because of the amount of opportunities it presents.

I was referred to a private CPA by a friend after making a mistake on my 2002 Tax return which ended up costing me 00. When I consulted with this CPA, he said that in order that he could act in my behalf I would have to give him a POA. Is this normal. What can he do with it?

I’m going into the Army, but planning to sit for the CPA before I go. I meet all requirements to sit, I’m just curious as to how it will take(or at least a rough estimate).

Doing mainly compilations, taxes, and Consulting? No auditing.
I would take a major pay cut by being a staff accountant in a CPA firm. I have 15+ years of Corporate Accounting experience and I am at the Manager level.

I’m thinking about putting ads on my site, and I don’t know how much it’s worth in terms of CPM, CPC, and CPA. How do I find out?

I am about to finish my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and have about 7 years of accounting experience. Do I need to have my CPA to open a bookkeeping service? (I plan on sitting for the CPA within the next year or two)

How long does it take to become a CPA?

After an MBA and 4 years as a staff accountant with general accounting duties is CPA the right way to go? And also, what is the typical time frame to become a CPA working full time. I am thinking of enrolling in the live in class Becker CPA review.
Any good suggestion is appreciated

How is an FPA different from a CPA?

I’m an entrepreneur and I’m getting killed in taxes. An associate of mine said to use an FPA instead of a CPA because an FPA can identify more deductions. Problem is, I can’t seem to pry any FPA contact information from my associate and I’m having no luck searching the web for what an FPA is and how to find one.

What is an FPA? How do I find one? I’m in the Los Angeles/Orange County area of California, USA.

I am not a MBA, but with a CPA license. Will it help me to get into the investment banking?

What kind of job positions can a CPA get?

I prefer those which are high-position jobs that has a high salary, which required a CPA designation.
