Can You Become A CPA in NY With A Felony Conviction For Possession Of Marijuana?

Im 27, when i was 23 i got a D-Felony conviction for possession of marijuan- i want to go back to school for accountant and eventually my CPA, can you become a CPA in NY with these charges, or is it just pointless?
