Does community college credit count towards CPA credit requirements?
I want to take a few courses at the community college level to see if Accounting is right for me. If it works out, I would transfer to a 4-year college. But since I already hold a Bachelor’s degree, I only need the credits. Does community college credit count towards CPA credit requirements? Is there a limit?
I already >150 credit hours. I just need the required Accounting credits.

It may depend what state you are in, but I live in MA, and the rule here is that only if the comm. college courses are transferred into a 4-year college are they acceptable for CPA credit.
Go to nasba.org it has all the info for all 50 states regarding the CPA.
Accounting is a great career choice, but a lot of hard work, I’m currently in the midst of studying for the CPA exam having passed 2 out of 4 exams at the moment. Good luck!
