Is there a BEST order to the take CPA Exam sections?
I know it is up to personal preference…but just based on your personal experiences, what order worked well for you? I am about to sign up for Becker courses, so I will need to have an order to the 4 parts. Do people usually begin with a certain part? Or end with one? I don’t know many CPA’s, so I could use your input. Thanks.

The order is entirely up to you. I chose to start with REG since that was where I felt weakest. Next was AUD where I felt strongest. FAR was next because this was the hardest section with the most material. Last for me was BEC. It is by far the easiest and I know that most people save this for last because there are no simulations to study for. After putting in all the time for the other three, preparation for BEC seemed very easy.
I also know people that have gone from what they felt were their weakest areas to their strongest. The real key is to simply block out time every day (2-3 hours) to devote to study plus time over the weekends (6-8 hours) for at lest a month. Also, I found it a great help to take two or three days off before the exam for last minute prep.
Follow the Becker program and do ALL of the homework including simulations and you should be fine.
Good Luck!
