I want to major in Accounting and Finance but I want to attend a University in England. I’m from the United States though.

Can I still be a CPA in the states?

Can you take CPA with an online accounting degree?

I am graduating with a double degree in accounting and finance from Drake University which is well known. However, I don’t have 30 accoutning hours but I plan on picking up an online masters degree through University of Phoenix Online for Accounting. Will I be able to take the GPA or do I have to go to another institution for additional accounting credits. Please help. Thank you!

How does someone get a CPA?

I’m a transfer student that’s joining the Cal Poly campus and I’m planning to double major in Finance/Accounting (or Finance/Econ) and I’m just curious as to how somebody can get a CPA?

I plan to stay in finance and understand that in certain states, like mine, you need a minimum amount of experience to get licensed in addition to passing the exam. How do you refer to people who have passed the exam but haven’t practiced accounting?

I already have my AABA and BA in Accounting and Finance and also am currently taking a self-paced correspondence course for bookkeeping. I want to know if I need to get my CPA before I decide to start a part-time bookkeeping service from my home. Would it be in my best interests to get it or is it something that I don’t need to worry about?

I would prefer answers from people in the same field or similar experience. No spam please. Thank you.

I am currently a recent Business Adminstration graduate in finance and economics and am now trying to take the CPA exam. I have already earned all the Bus requirements and most of the accounting units but I still need 6 to 9 units to take the exam. I found out Santa Monica College offers courses but because of the high demand and lack of classes I can’t get in. Does anyone else know where they might offer classes in accounting.

I will be graduating in about a year with double major in accounting and finance, which will give me 150 credits to sit for the CPA. How should i handle the CPA. Should i study for it right after getting my degree, or should i look for a job first. And how long should i study for each part, will i be finished with my CPA within a year. I also want to get a MBA sometime in the future. Thanks in advance.

Get an accounting degree and cpa license?

I have a bachelors in Finance but am interested in pursuing an accounting degree and becoming a cpa….Anyone know how many classes I would have to take and also, if their grants available?

I am going to get my bachelors degree in business administration with a concentration in finance at the end of this month. However, now I am interested in going into accounting and obtaining my CPA. I don’t have enough hours to sit for the exam so should I just go to MBA school to get the hours? Or is there another path I can take?
Should I just stay another year at my school to take more accounting classes to fulfill the hours?

In which states is the CPA reciprocal to New York?

I live in California but would like to live in New York. In which of those reciprocal states is the easiest and fastest to obtain? Is the CPA in CA hard? I’ve heard that in Maine you only need a bachelors. Is this true? I have a bachelors in Finance and took 2 accounting classes. I have no experience.
