Will a CPA license help in the investment banking career?

I am not a MBA, but with a CPA license. Will it help me to get into the investment banking?

Not unless you plan on working in the accounting dept. If you’re interested in getting into i-banking, your either have to have some connections, or get an MBA from one of the target schools.
It might, because a CPA has financial skokum, and the credential could open doors.
oh yes, come from wall street myself & most of those crooks have CPAs.

No. It doesn’t hurt, but it won’t help.
Investment banking is more about financial structuring and marketing than it is about accounting. Having a CPA is ultimately superfluous and doesn’t really have any impact, as everybody on the job knows the accounting they need.
Having an MBA, good grades, and good school are far more important.
